Thousands of candidates.
Ninety days of campaigning.
One sacred ballot.

A few hours to go before the polls start, here are a few reminders:
* Bring your codigo or sample ballots. It’s perfectly fine; it’s not illegal. Just do not campaign inside the polling precinct.
* Do NOT take a picture of your ballot (any part of it) for Instagram or any other photo service. It’s an election offence if you do.
* You CANNOT talk to anybody inside the precinct except the BEIs/authorized personnel.
* Fall in line early.
* Shade the WHOLE oval, just to be sure.
*And report any untoward, illegal or violent acts to authorities. You could also tweet to us at Rappler using #PHvote.

Five new legislative districts, out of the 16 proposed by Congress, were created before the May 13 polls.

Bakit ba eleksyon at pulitika ang lagi kong bukambibig halos araw-araw? Kasi malaki ang mga nakataya rito: ang susunod na anim na taon, at ang pag-unlad ng ating bansa.

Eleksyon ang natatanging “kapangyarihan” ng mga mamamayan para ihalal ang mga piling tao na magpapatakbo sa bansa. I highly respect its importance, kaya naman sinusubukan kong tumulong sa wastong pagpili ng ating mga susunod na lider.

Sige nga, hinahamon ko kayo: anu-ano ang na-contribute sa pag-unlad ng bayan nina re-electionist Sens. Cayetano, Legarda, Escudero, Honasan, Pimentel at Trillanes, pati nina dating Senador Madrigal, Gordon, Maceda, Zubiri at Magsaysay kaya karapat-dapat silang maging Senador muli?

Anu-ano ang mga nagawa nina JV Ejercito, Jack Enrile, Sonny Angara, Cynthia Villar, Mitos Magsaysay, Bam Aquino, Tingting Cojuangco, Nancy Binay at Grace Poe kaya karapat-dapat silang humalili sa pwesto ng kanilang mga kamag-anak sa Senado at magtrabaho kasama ang iba pang kamag-anak/kaibigan sa gobyerno?

Anu-ano ang mga plano at plataporma nina Teddy Casiño, Risa Hontiveros, Eddie Viilanueva, Christian Señeres, Greco Belgica, Baldomero Falcone, Samson Alcantara, Ricardo Penson, JC de Los Reyes, Marwil Llasos, Rizalito David, Ramon Montaño at Edward Hagedorn kaya karapat-dapat silang bigyan ng anim na taon sa Senado?

Gusto natin ng pagbabago, pero “old-school” pa rin tayo mag-isip. Bumalik po sana tayo sa mga isyu at problema ng bayan, hindi sa personalidad o popularidad.

Hindi po biro ang ibibigay natin sa kanilang anim na taon. We are the enablers: kung ano ang ating desisyon, babalik ito sa atin kalaunan.

Pag-isipan po sana natin nang husto ang ating mga iboboto sa Senado.
